Born and raised in Calgary Alberta Canada, Doug depicts the local rural surroundings, foothills and the Canadian Rockies with energetic light and immodest color. Along with all the painting, Doug owns and operates Swinton Art Supply and Instruction, one of Western Canada's largest art facilities.
