Colin Page does the majority of his work outside, working from life to capture the light and atmosphere of his subject matter. “Through painting a place I find moments of beauty in the space around me. The story I tell as a painter is one of how that particular scene captured me – how I see beauty in it.” Page studied painting at Rhode Island School of Design and Cooper Union, receiving his BFA in 2000.
