Jeff Merrill received a BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University. He worked for seven years as an in-house illustrator for The Waterford Institute, illustrating children’s books and creating graphics for educational software. In 2004, he changed his focus from Illustration to Fine Art. His work, primarily oil, covers many subjects including still life, figurative and landscape painting. He currently teaches introductory and intermediate figure drawing classes, as well as a digital illustration. This is the second year that Jeff will participate as a featured artist in the Door County Plein Air Festival. Represented at jeffmerrill.com.
