Shelby is an impressionist painter, teacher and performance artist; operating her own art studio and exhibition space. Her vibrant, free brush work and bright underpainting technique has appealed to students and collectors, and helped to earn her a People's Choice Award at last year's Plein Air Festival and a Best of Show Award in Cedarburg. Her works are found in corporate and private collections around the country and her award-winning urban landscapes have earned her participation in nationally important art festivals and juried shows.
