Susiehyer knew from the time she was 4 years old that she would grow up to be an artist and began drawing from that early age. She studied with such notables as Kim English, Mark Daily, Kevin Weckbach and Quang Ho among others. A previous national vice president of the Women's Caucus for Art ,she is now a member of WAOW, Plein Air Artists of Colorado, and OPA. Her work has been seen in Southwest Art Magazine, was featured in Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine, and was chosen for the celebrated Landscapes of Colorado by Ann Daley of the Denver Art Museum.
