Marc R. Hanson, majored in illustration at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. "A naturalist at heart, the landscape is the perfect vehicle for expressing the joy that I have for the world that surrounds me." Marc has won many awards with both his oil and pastel paintings and teaches workshops nationally in both media. He's a signature member of Oil Painters of America and has won Awards of Excellence in two O.P.A. National Exhibits. Most recently he was awarded 3rd place Landscape in the Pastel 100 Competition, his fourth award in the competition.
