Forty Artists. Six days to paint. One incredible event.
Christopher Copeland

Christopher Copeland was born in 1961 in St. Paul, MN. Having been raised in rural Washington county, he grew accustomed to the open and serene landscape that are the predominant subject matter of his paintings today. In addition to painting the intimate spaces near his home in Stillwater, Copeland has frequented the areas of New Mexico and Arizona to paint the unique light and landscape of the Southwest. Copeland is inspired by American Impressionists Willard Metcalf, John Twachtman, and painters Edward Hopper and George Bellows. Represented by Tamarack Gallery, MN, Abode Gallery, WI and Wilder Nightingale, NM, and online at christophercopeland.com.
