Richard was born and raised surrounded by the beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Richard enjoyed a successful career in design and animation, which included two Emmy awards. Committed to becoming a full-time artist, he quit his day job and moved to Minneapolis to study at The Atelier and H&P Studios.

Richard paints the Great Lakes region, rural areas in Wisconsin and Minnesota, Hawaii, New Mexico, and Italy. He lives and teaches in St. Paul. His work is at the Grand Hill Gallery in St. Paul and Swan Song Arts in Maiden Rock Wisconsin. You can view his paintings at www.richardabraham.com.
