Ivan Zassavitski                         Oil                               Minnesota

I paint what excites me, looking for different ways to show that through. Ivan Zassavitski was raised in Moscow, Russia where he was influenced by the works of 19th and 20th centuries Russian masters. Ivan completed his formal classical training at The Atelier in  Minneapolis, MN, a school that follows Western Old Masters traditions as well as teaches the color approach of the French Impressionists. Ivan paints landscapes, portraits, interiors and still life. His work has been accepted into the Oil Painters of America National Exhibition and he has won several awards in recent plein air competitions. You can view his paintings at www.zassavitski.com.
