Kathie Wheeler                           Oil                                Wisconsin

As a child, Kathie Wheeler was drawn to the spirit of the Hudson River School of artists and the American impressionists who took to the fields and woods with their sketchbooks and paints to record the beauty of their surroundings.  She was raised in the Chicago area, and grew up sketching and painting with her father. She studied at the American Academy of Art. She is a member of Oil Painters of America, and the Wisconsin Visual Artists.
