Thomas Van Stein                   Oil                                 California

Thomas Van Stein received his BA in Illustration and graduated with high honors from California State University, Northridge.  He furthered his education by attending Pasadena’s Art Center College of Design, and travelled worldwide to study the art and culture of 38 countries.  Van Stein has participated in over 160 group and solo exhibitions and has won numerous awards. Van Stein has been an art teacher for over 18 years. He is a 20 year member of the Santa Barbara O.A.K. Group, and member of Oil Painters of America.  Thomas is represented by Eleanor Ettinger Gallery in NY, Elder Art Gallery in Charlotte, NC, and The Bottoms Art Gallery, Santa Barbara.  View his work online at www.thomasvanstein.net.
