Ed Terpening began his career as a musician before finishing college with a Computer Science degree.  After a successful 20-year career in high tech for companies like Apple Computer, he began his next calling as an artist to create a lasting legacy.  Ed has already won numerous honors and participated in more than 50 shows.  His honors include First Place at San Luis Obispo Plein Air, Director’s Choice Award at Estes Park Plein Air, and National RayMar Competition Finalist.  His work has been featured in many publications, including an 8-page cover story in American Artist Magazine, the largest art periodical in the US, as well as Palo Alto Weekly and Out & About Magazine.  He is represented online at www.EdTerpening.com.
