Paula Swaydan Grebel paints only what she sees, and what she sees is nature. Plein Air painting, in the purest sense, is her goal. Born in Southern California, receiving her BFA from California State University Long Beach, she studied under such prominent artists as John Lincoln. Moving to Wisconsin in the mid-90’s, she found an irresistible motivation to translate the space of the Midwest landscapes and sun-filtered colors, through shapes and emotions on her canvas. She has studied with Ken Auster, Peggy Kroll Roberts, Dan Gerhartz and Stuart Shils. Represented by Woodwalk Gallery, Egg Harbor, WI and Tory Folliard Gallery, Milwaukee, WI.
