Susan Ploughe                Oil                                     Illinois

After a career in illustration and design, Susan Ploughe turned to oil painting full time in 2002. Since then, her work has been juried into many respected shows, including the Oil Painters of America National Exhibition and Salon International. She has won awards from the American Impressionist Society, Plein Air Easton and the International ARCSalon. Her artwork can be found in corporate and private collections across the country. In addition to exploring landscapes en plein air, Susan paints portraits and figurative works, many of which were inspired by a painting trip to China.
