




Macario Pascual Oil Hawaii
Macario Pascual, Maui’s
award winning studio and plein air artist, was the first and youngest recipient
of the Lahaina Arts Society (LAS) Art Scholarship at age 13. It led to a solo
exhibition at LAS while still a senior in high school. Pascual graduated with a
BFA Degree in Design from the University of Hawaii. Pascual is known for his
sensitive paintings of Hawaii’s plantation life and the surrounding landscape.
His understanding and sensitivity to the media and the subject has led to
commissions and exhibitions, including juried shows and plein air
invitationals, winning awards on the regional and national level. Represented
