My goal as an artist is to simply convey the beauty of nature through my paintings... to leave the obvious vague and to only paint that which is essential. Michael DeFrancesco received his fine art degree from The American Academy of Art in Chicago. He was fortunate to have studied under fine instructors such as, Bill Parks, Irving Shapiro, Fred Berger, Vern Stake and  Eugene Hall, a protege of  Vladimir Zlatoff-Mirsky,  who had studied in Moscow with the renowned artist Ilya Repin.
