Judith D’Agostino                     Oil                             New Mexico

Judith enjoyed drawing as a child, but fell in love with oil paint after her mother gave her a set during her recuperation from an illness while living in Italy. Inspired by the great masters she was able to see in the museums of Europe, she returned to the United States to continue her studies, receiving a BFA in painting and shortly after an MFA.  Judith taught at the University level for several years and retired as Director of Education at the Tucson Museum of Art in 2001.  She briefly moved to California and now lives in Santa Fe painting the landscape of  New Mexico.  Represented by Tansey Gallery in Tucson, AZ; Gallery on Glassell in Orange, CA; and online at www.dagostinofineart.com.
