Ben Bauer is a painter drawn to the natural elements of light, atmosphere, color and design. His work focuses mainly on the midwestern landscape which offers an endless array of ideas, from the north shore to the western glacial moraines, to the southern bluffs of Minnesota as well as fresh locations. His goal as a painter is to invite the viewer to wander, relax and relate to a sense of being in a specific place. He studied Studio Art at University of Wisconsin Stout in Menomonie, WI.
